One of our club members Dr. Gregory De Santis and his associate, Dr. Giorgio Gatti, have published their first of three books about Bitetto, Italy called “Genealogy of Bitetto, Italy and the Surrounding Area”. Dr. Gatti is in charge of the demographic data for Bitetto and the surrounding towns. The book contains detailed information on over 600 people dating from 1793 to 2002. What is unique about the book is that it hyperlinked to move easily from one ancestor to another. Another feature is that it contains the maiden name of the mother which is hard to find in Italian documents. The book is available on Amazon at the following location:
